Trip to the Gorely volcanic caves

The volcanic caves in Kamchatka came into existence when boiling lava drilled rocks during a huge eruption. 14 such lava tubes are located close to the volcano Gorely, six of them are open to visit. In one of these caves, hidden between stony lava flows, is located an icy lake. Amazing nature of the Kamchatka peninsula leaves a lasting impression: this great place hasn’t been destroyed by a touch of civilization – mostly because it’s really not easy to get here.
